Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ian Gascoigne started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Denny Beerman in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andre Byrne saved Liverpool FC from getting behind. 10 minutes into the game, Cirencester's Brian Shepherd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andre Byrne made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Andre Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brian Shepherd in the 12th minute of play. Andre Byrne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Shepherd in the 15th minute. When Cirencester's Denny Beerman in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Liverpool FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 20th play minute Brian Shepherd came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Andre Byrne. 2-0. Andre Byrne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denny Beerman's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Cirencester's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Alsford came free, but Lucas Fox reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andre Byrne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denny Beerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Shepherd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Andre Byrne made a huge save. 39 minutes into the game, Denis Alsford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liverpool FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cirencester the free kick. Denis Alsford kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Denny Beerman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Andre Byrne was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brian Shepherd's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andre Byrne firmly grabbed it by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denny Beerman to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Harvey Laverack was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cirencester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. Harvey Laverack kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Andre Byrne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garth Newby in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Cirencester booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Gascoigne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute of the match Martyn Fleetwood shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andre Byrne showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Liverpool FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ian Gascoigne hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Denny Beerman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cirencester fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Brian Shepherd managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cirencester's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Shepherd was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andre Byrne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kev Bamford came free, but Andre Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denny Beerman in the 76th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Andre Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andre Byrne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denny Beerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Denny Beerman scored 6-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andre Byrne, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Garth Newby came free, but Andre Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Denny Beerman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Andre Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Liverpool FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kev Bamford came free, but Andre Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Liverpool FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cirencester.
