Spectators: 7635 (Terracing: 5727, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) Stephen Stamer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Wennerqvist went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Wennerqvist in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stephen Stamer saved NinjaSkrtels from getting behind. Stephen Stamer made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Erik Wennerqvist sent off a good shot on target. When Erik Wennerqvist came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Galacticos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Wennerqvist couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, Rich Radcliffe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephen Stamer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Honorato Jeraldo came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by NinjaSkrtels's Johnny Swift. But to his dismay, Johnny Swift quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Noel Fowler managed to get in a good position for a shot. NinjaSkrtels's supporters rose to their feet, but Noel Fowler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Jeraldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sol Hargraves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Wennerqvist in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stephen Stamer saved NinjaSkrtels from getting behind. NinjaSkrtels's Stephen Stamer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Wennerqvist in the 28th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Erik Wennerqvist reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stephen Stamer. The goal made the score 4-1. Stephen Stamer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Wennerqvist in the 35th minute of the match. In the 36th match minute, NinjaSkrtels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Fowler to maneuver through the defense. In the 37thth minute of the game Erik Wennerqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NinjaSkrtels's Stephen Stamer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Tyler Barnes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes, Galacticos's Rich Radcliffe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stephen Stamer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galacticos reached it. Des Conway sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Wennerqvist took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Stephen Stamer. Stephen Stamer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. In the 47th minute, NinjaSkrtels's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erik Wennerqvist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Noel Fowler was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Galacticos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rich Radcliffe to maneuver through the defense. Honorato Jeraldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Swift in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 55 minutes, Noel Fowler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NinjaSkrtels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel Fowler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galacticos's Erik Wennerqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rich Radcliffe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Stamer having to interfere. Erik Wennerqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Stephen Stamer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wayne Cuss hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in NinjaSkrtels's zone, Rich Radcliffe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stephen Stamer came out of the goal and Rich Radcliffe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, Erik Wennerqvist made a precise shot to the right of Stephen Stamer. NinjaSkrtels's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. 83 minutes into the game, Galacticos's Erik Wennerqvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stephen Stamer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. After 88 minutes of play, Galacticos's Erik Wennerqvist made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stephen Stamer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Des Conway's late challenge caught a NinjaSkrtels's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Des Conway helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of NinjaSkrtels booed when Galacticos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Des Conway didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Wennerqvist in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stephen Stamer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Galacticos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
