In the 35thth minute of the game Rob Downton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manchester United's Barney Burley was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeffrey Carroll got free with Barney Burley in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 95 minutes, Marlon Butterworth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United and the Kidderminster Harriers players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marlon Butterworth kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Kidderminster Harriers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
