Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Allan Marshall took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Steven Ackland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seer Green's supporters rose to their feet, but Steven Ackland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matty Dixon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carterton AFC's Matty Dixon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Marshall in the 11th minute of play. Brandon Hudson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Carterton AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 21st minute, Seer Green's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Tom Strongman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jon Black was a little too slow when Brandon Hudson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 22nd minute. The score was now 1-0. The Seer Green fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Seer Green's Allan Marshall looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jon Black made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tom Strongman in the 30th minute. Jon Black showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brandon Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Seer Green's zone, Brandon Hudson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jon Black came out of the goal and Brandon Hudson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brandon Hudson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Brandon Hudson made the kick off in the second half. Tom Strongman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jon Black having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Brandon Hudson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carterton AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brandon Hudson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jon Black breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tom Francis hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 58 played minutes Allan Marshall could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-2 into the left cross. Seer Green's Jon Black played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brandon Hudson in the 67th minute of play. Pete Moorhouse hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Brandon Hudson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Marshall in the 79th minute of play forced Carterton AFC's goalkeeper Matty Dixon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Steven Ackland could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Matty Dixon made a huge save. Steven Ackland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Allan Marshall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Carterton AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
