Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stewart Hibbert made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 7 minutes, Stewart Hibbert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferencvárosi TC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stewart Hibbert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ferencvárosi TC's Junior Ward in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kesgrave FC's goalie prevented a goal. Stewart Hibbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antony Holbrook read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. Stewart Hibbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Antony Holbrook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Junior Ward recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes Kesgrave FC got a freekick which was hit by Sean Hutchinson. 19 minutes into the game, Ferencvárosi TC's Stewart Hibbert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antony Holbrook made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Antony Holbrook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stewart Hibbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antony Holbrook showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stewart Hibbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Zaq Jackson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roger Heslop firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Stewart Hibbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antony Holbrook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stewart Hibbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Stewart Hibbert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seth Vaughn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Antony Holbrook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Kesgrave FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ferencvárosi TC were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Crispin Manson was the one to do the kick off. Junior Ward struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Antony Holbrook didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferencvárosi TC. Ben Bonds's late challenge caught a Ferencvárosi TC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ben Bonds helped the player get up and apologised. With his leg Antony Holbrook managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Ferencvárosi TC's Junior Ward fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Kesgrave FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Marty Brearley hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, Kesgrave FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stewart Hibbert came free, but Antony Holbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Stewart Hibbert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71st minute Zaq Jackson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Heslop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75thth minute of the game Stewart Hibbert who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kesgrave FC's Antony Holbrook was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 77th minute Stewart Hibbert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antony Holbrook saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stewart Hibbert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Holbrook having to interfere. A collision led to Kesgrave FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Kurt Brooks hit a great ball. When Junior Ward came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ferencvárosi TC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Junior Ward couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Ferencvárosi TC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kesgrave FC throughout the match.
