Allan Marshall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Holbrook having to interfere. Antony Holbrook took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allan Marshall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rich Lineker was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kesgrave FC! Antony Holbrook had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Huey Holstead's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball In the 14th minute, Huey Holstead reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antony Holbrook. The goal made the score 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Marshall in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antony Holbrook prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antony Holbrook made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Steven Ackland sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Kesgrave FC's Zaq Jackson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jon Black narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Steven Ackland had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antony Holbrook. Kesgrave FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Steven Ackland was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 34 minutes into the game, Martyn Canning cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Antony Holbrook was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 38 played minutes Allan Marshall rounded Kesgrave FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 5-0. Allan Marshall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antony Holbrook having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Allan Marshall to strike the kick off in the second half. Steven Ackland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Antony Holbrook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaq Jackson got free with Jon Black in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 77 minutes, Steven Ackland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Seer Green's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steven Ackland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Allan Marshall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kesgrave FC's zone, Allan Marshall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antony Holbrook came out of the goal and Allan Marshall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlton Hart hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Allan Marshall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Kesgrave FC's goal looked a bit too open when Steven Ackland came free, but Antony Holbrook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kesgrave FC's Antony Holbrook played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Marshall in the 91st minute of play. Antony Holbrook made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Ackland in the 97th minute of play. Seer Green walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
