Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alistair Hook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22nd play minutes Robbie Elliott shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Guy Roebuck and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Alistair Hook managed to get in a good position for a shot. Llangyfelach AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alistair Hook was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guy Roebuck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guy Roebuck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alistair Hook, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. EVERTON's Conan Carragher got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Alistair Hook made the kick off in the second half. Alistair Hook's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guy Roebuck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wayne Ricketts during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wayne Ricketts hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Conan Carragher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Green saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guy Roebuck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alistair Hook, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. If Conan Carragher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes EVERTON got a freekick which was hit by Kristopher Lineker. The audience was convinced that Alistair Hook's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guy Roebuck was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Conan Carragher managed to get in a good position for a shot. EVERTON's supporters rose to their feet, but Conan Carragher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Green breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conan Carragher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jake Green tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pat Messenger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jake Green having to interfere. The EVERTON supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Llangyfelach AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Llangyfelach AFC.
