Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. John Burnham started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute Lennie Woolcock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nat Wybrow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. John Burnham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nat Wybrow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Roberts kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Lennie Woolcock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nat Wybrow read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. The Folkestone AFC fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Folkestone AFC's Rob Jenas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Folkestone AFC's Nat Wybrow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Burnham in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Adam Roberts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 16 played minutes Fortnite Sux FC got a freekick which was hit by Silvester Willmott. In the 18th minute, John Burnham left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fortnite Sux FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Eric Strong charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eric Strong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Fortnite Sux FC's Eric Strong got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Leo Copsey got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 25 minutes into the game, Barry Milner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fortnite Sux FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Folkestone AFC the free kick. Barry Milner hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Leo Copsey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Charles Jefferies when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leo Copsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rob Jenas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Fortnite Sux FC's Ritchie Laurie got a free kick in the 41st minute. Ashley Case took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charles Jefferies. Fortnite Sux FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rob Jenas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Jefferies was relentless in the 47th minute of the game.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rob Jenas made a kick off. If Barry Milner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute Leo Copsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Jefferies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Jefferies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Copsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Fortnite Sux FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dave Lane hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Dave Lane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennie Woolcock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Rob Jenas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Jefferies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortnite Sux FC's Lennie Woolcock got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute Leo Copsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Jefferies saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Jefferies showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Jenas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Leo Copsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Jefferies having to interfere. After having played for 96 minutes, Rob Jenas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Folkestone AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rob Jenas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fortnite Sux FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
