Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lewis Durrant started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Ash Ruddock had to leave the field with a concussion. When Jamal Beale fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penrith's protests and gave Jamal Beale a yellow card for diving instead. Lewis Durrant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nat Wybrow having to interfere. Lewis Durrant struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Nat Wybrow didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penrith. The supporters of Folkestone AFC booed when Penrith was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lewis Dodgson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Copsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Grant Harkness tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 33 minutes into the match, Leo Copsey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Grant Harkness. Penrith's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Copsey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Copsey in the 39th minute of play forced Penrith's goalkeeper Grant Harkness to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Harkness showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leo Copsey in the 40th minute of the match. If Kirk Baird had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lewis Durrant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Nat Wybrow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Folkestone AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Copsey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lewis Durrant struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Adam Roberts might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Grant Harkness. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adam Roberts ran back to his position shaking his head. Adam Roberts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Grant Harkness tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 played minutes Folkestone AFC got a freekick which was hit by Danny Emmerson. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Lewis Durrant put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Nat Wybrow. Leo Copsey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Grant Harkness made a huge save. Leo Copsey struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Grant Harkness didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Folkestone AFC. Leo Copsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Roberts in the 74th minute of play forced Penrith's goalkeeper Grant Harkness to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leo Copsey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Grant Harkness made a huge save. Penrith's Jamal Beale got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Jamal Beale off the ground. Mark Hird hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Leo Copsey in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Grant Harkness, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 89 minutes, Kirk Baird managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penrith's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kirk Baird was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kirk Baird hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Penrith's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leo Copsey fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
