Spectators: 6494 (Terracing: 5719, Seating: 700, VIP seats: 75) Lewis Durrant made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Penrith got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Durrant. With a little luck, Penrith's Grant Harkness got control of the ball when Guy Gunn tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Lavendon City's Perry Laycock ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Grant Harkness. Grant Harkness yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 11th match minute, Penrith was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Hird to maneuver through the defense. Grant Harkness didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Perry Laycock went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Perry Laycock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavendon City's supporters rose to their feet, but Perry Laycock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grant Harkness breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lavendon City's Kristopher Chilton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kirk Baird in the 33rd minute of play. Guy Gunn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristopher Chilton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kirk Baird, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 minutes of play, Penrith's Jamal Beale made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristopher Chilton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kristopher Chilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kirk Baird in the 41st minute of play. The supporters of Penrith booed when Lavendon City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denny Lester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lavendon City's Kristopher Chilton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lewis Durrant in the 48th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Kirk Baird got free with Kristopher Chilton in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the game, Jamal Beale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penrith's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lavendon City the free kick. After 55 played minutes Penrith got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Beale. Perry Laycock scored 4-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Grant Harkness, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pete Pennant's late challenge caught a Lavendon City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pete Pennant helped the player get up and apologised. Perry Laycock kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Lewis Durrant kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Mark Hird recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jamal Beale kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Kirk Baird blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kristopher Chilton having to make a save. Perry Laycock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kristopher Chilton made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Kirk Baird sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sam Bond during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kristopher Chilton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lewis Durrant in the 90th minute of the match. Lavendon City's Kristopher Chilton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Lavendon City from getting a goal against them. Sam Bond was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The audience was convinced that Lewis Durrant's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristopher Chilton was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
