In the 5th minute, Ash Ruddock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Lavendon City's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Jenas came free, but Kristopher Chilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Perry Laycock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristopher Chilton was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Leo Copsey capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leo Copsey really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rob Jenas in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristopher Chilton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jordan Amos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kristopher Chilton. Lavendon City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Lavendon City's Henry Berry seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Henry Berry the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lavendon City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Henry Berry had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Henry Berry kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 25 played minutes Lavendon City got a freekick which was hit by Craig Cole. Kristopher Chilton made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Leo Copsey sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Perry Laycock left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lavendon City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Rob Jenas's late challenge caught a Lavendon City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rob Jenas helped the player get up and apologised. After 39 played minutes Folkestone AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rob Jenas. Kristopher Chilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Jenas, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute, Sam Bond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rob Jenas made a kick off. Kristopher Chilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Copsey in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Buster Forbes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kristopher Chilton skillfully saved the ball. Nat Wybrow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perry Laycock, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Lavendon City's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Copsey came free, but Kristopher Chilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lavendon City's Perry Laycock was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 77th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Romeo Krief hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Perry Laycock got free with Nat Wybrow in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Lavendon City booed when Folkestone AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Copsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perry Laycock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nat Wybrow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romeo Krief kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Kristopher Chilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Copsey in the 91st minute of play.
