Spectators: 5050 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) 2 minutes into the match, Skelmersdale City's goal looked a bit too open when Brynn Parkin came free, but Darius Strongman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rio Lambley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darius Strongman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Brynn Parkin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Andy Colton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teddy Bowden went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Andy Colton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Bowden in the 17th minute of play. Andy Colton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffrey Dumpleton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd match minute, Skelmersdale City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Drew Prior to maneuver through the defense. Brynn Parkin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Benji Swallow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 26 in the game by Brynn Parkin from a close distance when the talented Darius Strongman managed to make a qualified save. Skelmersdale City's players were relieved. Benji Swallow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Darius Strongman made a huge save. Rio Lambley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Darius Strongman made a huge save. Darius Strongman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Lambley, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Darius Strongman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rio Lambley in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Skelmersdale City booed when FC Cuza-Voda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Odell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brynn Parkin made a kick off. FC Cuza-Voda's Rio Lambley got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teddy Bowden received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andy Colton came out and tried to block the shot, but Teddy Bowden slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. Cliff Budden scored 1-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Darius Strongman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brynn Parkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darius Strongman having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Mitch Hilton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skelmersdale City and the FC Cuza-Voda players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Skelmersdale City's Mitch Hilton got a free kick in the 64th minute. Rio Lambley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Darius Strongman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Cuza-Voda's Benji Swallow got a free kick in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Cliff Budden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darius Strongman was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 72nd minute Rio Lambley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darius Strongman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brynn Parkin in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Darius Strongman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When FC Cuza-Voda's Rio Lambley in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Skelmersdale City's goalie prevented a goal. Brynn Parkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Rio Lambley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darius Strongman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Darius Strongman came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Cuza-Voda's Rio Lambley. But to his dismay, Rio Lambley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Darius Strongman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rio Lambley's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. FC Cuza-Voda walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
