Spectators: 7245 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1700, VIP seats: 145) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vic Furlong kicked off to start the match. Jeremy Davis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donny Flintoff having to interfere. If Rodd Barnfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the game, Daniel Wadham was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Highbury and Islington AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Patrax Team the free kick. In the 17th minute, Daniel Wadham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodd Barnfield recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vic Furlong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Maxell having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Vic Furlong put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Oliver Maxell. A collision led to Patrax Team getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Carl Short hit a great ball. Highbury and Islington AFC's Adam Darling couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 30th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Patrax Team. Rodd Barnfield scored 0-3 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oliver Maxell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute Vic Furlong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Maxell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Davis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Donny Flintoff firmly grabbed it by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nial Best was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Vic Furlong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Highbury and Islington AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vic Furlong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Patrax Team's Phillip Sweeney got a free kick in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Darling in the 56th minute of play forced Patrax Team's goalkeeper Oliver Maxell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Oliver Maxell managed to avoid a goal in the 57thth minute, when Highbury and Islington AFC's Rodd Barnfield fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Patrax Team's Oliver Maxell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Furlong in the 58th minute of play. Nial Best sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Rodd Barnfield, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Oliver Maxell was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vic Furlong did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-5 to the left of a surprised Oliver Maxell 69 minutes into the match. Rodd Barnfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Maxell having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Adam Darling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Jeremy Davis came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Patrax Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremy Davis couldn't finish the play. After 87 played minutes Highbury and Islington AFC got a freekick which was hit by Terry Bzeu. 89 minutes into the match, Nial Best notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Highbury and Islington AFC's Donny Flintoff. Donny Flintoff was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oliver Maxell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vic Furlong in the 94th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the game, Carl Short was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Patrax Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Highbury and Islington AFC the free kick. In the 94th match minute, Patrax Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Short to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Patrax Team's Oliver Maxell got control of the ball when Rodd Barnfield tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Highbury and Islington AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Patrax Team.
