Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Richie Boland kicked off to start the match. Richie Boland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peter Senior kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Victorious Secret's James Heslop tried to score from far away in the 8th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Rick Hurst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Victorious Secret getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Austin Matthews hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Victorious Secret's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Hurst came free, but Al Newland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Al Newland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Hurst in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Luke Everett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Catford City's Rick Hurst fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 28th minute, Peter Senior got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Austin Matthews kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 36thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Catford City's keeper Phil Turner was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Boland in the 36th minute of play forced Catford City's goalkeeper Phil Turner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Catford City's Jez Buckley in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Victorious Secret's goalie prevented a goal. In the 43rd minute of the match, Richie Boland tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Phil Turner saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Richie Boland came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Victorious Secret fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richie Boland couldn't finish the play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Jez Buckley spun around in front of the goal 54 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Victorious Secret's goal. Al Newland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rick Hurst in the 57th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Rick Hurst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Al Newland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Catford City's Jez Buckley got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kristopher Rice fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Victorious Secret's protests and gave Kristopher Rice a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Kristopher Rice hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rick Hurst recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phil Turner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Austin Matthews, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Jez Buckley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Al Newland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
