The wind increased when Marty Proctor made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes newman united got a freekick which was hit by Connor Jordoan. In the 73rd minute, Waterlooville AFC's Tony Forrest ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeremy Tully. Jeremy Tully yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Rupert Lofthouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. newman united's attentive Liam Bryden managed to snatch the ball when Stephen Cuss made a throw-in in the 79th minute of the game. newman united's Jeremy Tully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Coogan in the 86th minute of play. newman united's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Kristian Brooks scored to the left of an out of position Jeremy Tully, making the score, 1-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Waterlooville AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
