Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Richie Boland took the kick off in the first half of the match. Richie Boland succeeded in the game's 4th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Helsby United! Louis Roche went to the wrong direction when James Heslop was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Richie Boland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Helsby United's Louis Roche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richie Boland in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Boland in the 19th minute of play forced Helsby United's goalkeeper Louis Roche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, Helsby United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rowan Hellen to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Victorious Secret's Eric Edison slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Louis Roche. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Rod Bond received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Al Newland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Helsby United's Rod Bond got a free kick in the 36th minute. James Heslop took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Louis Roche. Helsby United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Piers Postolan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Jones kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Piers Postolan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rod Bond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Newland having to interfere. After 65 minutes of play, Victorious Secret's Austin Matthews made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Louis Roche was left in no man's land by his defense there! A hard, long distance shot from Rod Bond flew over the goal. Rod Bond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Everett in the 80th minute of play forced Helsby United's goalkeeper Louis Roche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Helsby United's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Matthews came free, but Louis Roche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richie Boland in the 85th minute of play forced Helsby United's goalkeeper Louis Roche to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Richie Boland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis Roche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
