The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Laurence Walls put in a rough tackle. Honiton's Luke Horner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lloyd Beale in the 80th minute of play. Stan Newbury kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A collision led to Honiton getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Brandon Halliday hit a great ball. Sammy Hurst, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hot-Spurs walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
