Oscar Heath fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vern Sandell having to interfere. Louie Sherwood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norman Zamora, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Louie Sherwood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norman Zamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Millwall booed when Executive Crew was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Craig Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Executive Crew were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Millwall for a fine match.
