Spectators: 5600 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fitz Chapman took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Leonel fc booed when Newham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hayden Wells didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute of the match Austen Folwill sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but George Greenfield skillfully saved the ball. George Greenfield made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Nick Huckerby sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute Charlie Bates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Ainge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Ainge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Robbie Cole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mike Ainge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel fc's Austen Folwill shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 21st minute of play. The shot was stopped by George Greenfield but with some difficulty. George Greenfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Elwick, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Pete Elwick recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of George Greenfield. Pete Elwick showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Newham FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Pete Elwick scored to the left of an out of position George Greenfield, making the score, 2-0. George Greenfield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fitz Chapman, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robbie Cole stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After taking down the ball on Newham FC's corner Hayden Wells fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mike Ainge quite easily take care of the ball. After 54 played minutes Newham FC got a freekick which was hit by Gary Sercombe. After 55 played minutes, Leonel fc's Nial Love shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper George Greenfield came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leonel fc reached it. George Greenfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nick Huckerby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Leonel fc's Nial Love got a free kick in the 58th minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Robbie Cole sped through Leonel fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mike Ainge. George Greenfield took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fitz Chapman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute Jason Robson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Greenfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Pete Elwick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. George Greenfield was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 80th minute Fitz Chapman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Greenfield saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Newham FC's George Greenfield played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fitz Chapman in the 82nd minute of play. A collision led to Newham FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Hayden Wells hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, Newham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Robson came free, but George Greenfield reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mike Ainge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbie Cole, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Fitz Chapman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leonel fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1.
