Spectators: 7323 (Terracing: 5698, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nathanial Bull started the match with the kick off. Mitch Coulson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jay Sheldon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Ross Freeman kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Phillip Clay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jay Sheldon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute Mattias Roebuck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Sheldon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dag & Red's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jerry Grayson in the 17th minute. After 23 played minutes Sedgewick Collective got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Sedgemore. Mitch Coulson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitch Coulson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jay Sheldon having to interfere. Phillip Clay might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jay Sheldon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Phillip Clay ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mitch Coulson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sedgewick Collective booed when Dag & Red was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Grayson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mitch Coulson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sedgewick Collective's goalkeeper Jay Sheldon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mitch Coulson to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jerry Grayson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 54 minutes, Mattias Roebuck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dag & Red's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Roebuck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Phillip Clay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dag & Red's supporters rose to their feet, but Phillip Clay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jay Sheldon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jay Sheldon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerry Grayson in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sedgewick Collective's Simon Halliday got a free kick in the 59th minute. Dag & Red's Mattias Roebuck got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jay Sheldon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phillip Clay, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. If Mattias Roebuck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dag & Red's Mattias Roebuck got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Dag & Red's Phillip Clay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jay Sheldon. That made the score 0-1 after 77 minutes of play. Mitch Coulson took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jay Sheldon. Jay Sheldon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Sedgewick Collective getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Spike Brindley hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Mattias Roebuck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mattias Roebuck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dag & Red's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
