Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ickenham's Marcus Courtney started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes North Baddesley got a freekick which was hit by Calum Sykes. Wayne Farrow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niall Coleman in the 8th minute of play. Marcus Courtney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ickenham's zone, Micheal Deighton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terry Paine came out of the goal and Micheal Deighton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marcus Courtney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Courtney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wayne Farrow having to interfere. When Junior Simms fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ickenham's protests and gave Junior Simms a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ickenham getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Junior Simms hit a great ball. Joseph Button charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joseph Button the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of North Baddesley booed when Ickenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Button didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Ickenham defense, Micheal Deighton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Terry Paine. The Ickenham fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Terry Paine should have stopped the shot. North Baddesley's Micheal Deighton got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Terry Paine managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when North Baddesley's Micheal Deighton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ickenham's Terry Paine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Froggatt in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dylan Froggatt to make the kick off. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ickenham's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harvey Workman was slow to take the kick. During this time North Baddesley's players had a chance to rest. Niall Coleman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wayne Farrow having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Niall Coleman made a precise shot to the right of Wayne Farrow. North Baddesley's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 65th minute of the match Basil Bray sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Terry Paine skillfully saved the ball. North Baddesley's Calum Sykes got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Calum Sykes off the ground. Niall Coleman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 played minutes North Baddesley got a freekick which was hit by Joseph Ford. If Marcus Courtney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Courtney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ickenham's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because North Baddesley had won, even though Ickenham had held more of the ball.
