Azza of light
Spectators: 6761 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 5) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Felix Hutchinson got the match started through his kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Niall Coleman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but azza united's Stew Redwood-Turner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, azza united's Bill Colt got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 7th minute of the match Andy Dawson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stew Redwood-Turner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bill Colt's late challenge caught a Ickenham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bill Colt helped the player get up and apologised. Bill Colt kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes, Ickenham's Andy Dawson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stew Redwood-Turner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ickenham reached it. Will Wiseman kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, azza united's Felix Hutchinson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Terry Paine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Hutchinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Terry Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Courtney struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Stew Redwood-Turner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ickenham. Stew Redwood-Turner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niall Coleman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Niall Coleman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ickenham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niall Coleman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Will Wiseman charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Will Wiseman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute, Will Wiseman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stew Redwood-Turner came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ickenham's Marcus Courtney. But to his dismay, Marcus Courtney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcus Courtney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Ickenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niall Coleman to maneuver through the defense. When Felix Hutchinson fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored azza united's protests and gave Felix Hutchinson a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Hutchinson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. If Niall Coleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in azza united's zone, Marcus Courtney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stew Redwood-Turner came out of the goal and Marcus Courtney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Marcus Courtney got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stew Redwood-Turner made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Niall Coleman sent off a good shot on target. Felix Hutchinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Terry Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. azza united's Felix Hutchinson got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute of the match Ray Gamble sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stew Redwood-Turner skillfully saved the ball. azza united's Stew Redwood-Turner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save azza united from getting a goal against them. Marcus Courtney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stew Redwood-Turner having to interfere. After having played for 81 minutes, Niall Coleman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ickenham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niall Coleman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Ickenham's Marcus Courtney in the 83rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Stew Redwood-Turner was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for azza united through an amazing save. In the 84th match minute, azza united was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bill Colt to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Niall Coleman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute Marcus Courtney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stew Redwood-Turner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Ickenham left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than azza united.
