When Dylan Froggatt, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 35 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tyrone Venables was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dylan Froggatt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tyrone Venables read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Dylan Froggatt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Froggatt in the 48th minute of play forced Havant's goalkeeper Tyrone Venables to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dylan Froggatt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dylan Froggatt might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tyrone Venables. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dom Robertson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wayne Farrow having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Micheal Deighton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. North Baddesley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Micheal Deighton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Dylan Froggatt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Micheal Deighton came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tyrone Venables could save by the left post. Dylan Froggatt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tyrone Venables tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. North Baddesley's Dylan Froggatt got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, Havant's goalkeeper Tyrone Venables had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Micheal Deighton. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Micheal Deighton managed to get in a good position for a shot. North Baddesley's supporters rose to their feet, but Micheal Deighton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tyrone Venables breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
