Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd match minute, Ickenham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Dawson to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Ickenham's goal looked a bit too open when Grant Locke came free, but Terry Paine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th match minute, Forest Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stevie Bennett to maneuver through the defense. Forest Hill's Stan Frost played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niall Coleman in the 9th minute of play. Ickenham's Terry Paine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Ickenham from getting a goal against them. Grant Locke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Terry Paine having to make a save. Stan Frost stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Junior Simms's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Marcus Courtney ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stan Frost was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ickenham's Niall Coleman got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When CJ Morrell came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Forest Hill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that CJ Morrell couldn't finish the play. Terry Paine made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when CJ Morrell sent off a good shot on target. Ickenham's Terry Paine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ickenham from getting a goal against them. After 30 played minutes, Ickenham's Andy Dawson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Stan Frost came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ickenham reached it. Marcus Courtney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stan Frost having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Ickenham's Niall Coleman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stan Frost narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Glen Brennan kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When Ickenham's Marcus Courtney in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forest Hill's goalie prevented a goal. Stan Frost showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Courtney in the 67th minute of the match. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Forest Hill's goalkeeper Stan Frost, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 72 minutes in the game, Niall Coleman fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Stan Frost having to interfere. Stan Frost showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Courtney, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. If CJ Morrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When CJ Morrell came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Forest Hill fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that CJ Morrell couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Forest Hill booed when Ickenham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ray Gamble didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Grant Locke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Forest Hill's Grant Locke got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ickenham had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
