The supporters of Fulofham FC booed when New Ash Green FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pierre Dunn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Felix Clark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Fairbank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kristian Margarson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, New Ash Green FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Clark came free, but Frank Fairbank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gus Theakston's late challenge caught a New Ash Green FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gus Theakston helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Fulofham FC got a freekick which was hit by Gus Theakston. Fulofham FC's Shawn Fairfax proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Fulofham FC from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Marcus Clough had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Fairbank. New Ash Green FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Clough was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Clark in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Fairbank prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind New Ash Green FC's goalkeeper Frank Fairbank, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frank Fairbank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Weeks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

After a rather tough play, New Ash Green FC's Rod Horner got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Perry Weeks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Frank Fairbank was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. New Ash Green FC's Frank Fairbank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save New Ash Green FC from getting a goal against them. Fulofham FC's Felix Clark was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fulofham FC's Tom Willetts was substituted for Perry Weeks. Fulofham FC's attentive Tris Button managed to snatch the ball when Dane Blewett made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. If Donald Blair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 played minutes New Ash Green FC got a freekick which was hit by Jamal Clegg. Felix Clark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Frank Fairbank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Fulofham FC's Donald Blair dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Felix Clark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Frank Fairbank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Clark's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Frank Fairbank skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Tom Willetts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Fulofham FC booed when New Ash Green FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jake Bull didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Donald Blair managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulofham FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donald Blair was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tom Willetts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Fulofham FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than New Ash Green FC.
