Kirk Banks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nath Walmsley might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeff Mulligan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The supporters of Bombardier F.C booed when Crooksville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Callum Goodall didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 36th minute, Nath Walmsley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Locking received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jeff Mulligan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Locking fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Mulligan having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nath Walmsley made a kick off. Bombardier F.C's Jack McDonald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jez Francis in the 52nd minute of play. Thomas Wilkes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Mulligan having to interfere. If Nath Walmsley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Callum Goodall fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crooksville FC's protests and gave Callum Goodall a yellow card for diving instead. Jimmy Hardcastle hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Bombardier F.C's Nial Lister tried to score from far away in the 63rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jeff Mulligan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nath Walmsley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nath Walmsley in the 66th minute of play forced Crooksville FC's goalkeeper Jeff Mulligan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nath Walmsley hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Nath Walmsley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bombardier F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
