Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Trev Banks started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Frank Fairbank made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Vassell in the 4th minute. After having played for 7 minutes, Pierre Dunn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Ash Green FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pierre Dunn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Vassell got free with Frank Fairbank in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Noel Bowland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Margarson in the 14th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Sam Vassell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heroes United FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sam Vassell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Fairbank breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roy Herring's late challenge caught a New Ash Green FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roy Herring helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Heroes United FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Roy Herring hit a great ball. Pierre Dunn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kristian Margarson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heroes United FC's Noel Bowland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Dunn in the 32nd minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, New Ash Green FC's goal looked a bit too open when Trev Banks came free, but Frank Fairbank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Crispin Patterson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Ash Green FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heroes United FC the free kick. Crispin Patterson hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Heroes United FC's Trev Banks sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Frank Fairbank narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Pierre Dunn made the kick off in the second half. If Kristian Margarson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, New Ash Green FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Doughty to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the match, Sam Vassell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frank Fairbank. New Ash Green FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sam Vassell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Sam Vassell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jimmy Doughty got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, New Ash Green FC's Jimmy Doughty got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Phil Breckin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and New Ash Green FC's Frank Fairbank didn't even have to move. In the 85th minute, Roy Herring hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Amos during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Frank Fairbank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trev Banks, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Sam Vassell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Heroes United FC were the better team. Heroes United FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
