Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Kirk Banks took the kick off in the first half of the match. When New Ash Green FC's Pierre Dunn in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Crooksville FC's Jeff Mulligan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Crooksville FC from getting a goal against them. Jeff Mulligan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Dunn in the 11th minute of play. Callum Goodall's late challenge caught a New Ash Green FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Callum Goodall helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Crooksville FC's Callum Goodall got a free kick in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bryan Higginson during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd match minute, Crooksville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bryan Higginson to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the match, Kristian Margarson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeff Mulligan. Crooksville FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristian Margarson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, New Ash Green FC's Damian Gower got a free kick in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimmy Doughty during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to New Ash Green FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jimmy Doughty hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pierre Dunn made a kick off. Pierre Dunn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Pierre Dunn in the 65th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. If Pierre Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jimmy Doughty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Pierre Dunn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeff Mulligan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeff Mulligan came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by New Ash Green FC's Kristian Margarson. But to his dismay, Kristian Margarson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jake Bull kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Marty Nottingham came free with the goalkeeper in the 82nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frank Fairbank could save by the left post. Jez Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Frank Fairbank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Crooksville FC's Kirk Banks in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre Dunn in the 96th minute of play forced Crooksville FC's goalkeeper Jeff Mulligan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Dunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeff Mulligan having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Crooksville FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for New Ash Green FC.
