In the 5th minute of the match Philip Holmes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Bowland showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trev Banks in the 13th minute of play forced AC Allianssi's goalkeeper Austin Leach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AC Allianssi's Mark Reed got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Trev Banks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Austin Leach came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Heroes United FC's Sam Vassell. But to his dismay, Sam Vassell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Trev Banks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Austin Leach having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, AC Allianssi's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Vassell came free, but Austin Leach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lennie Lyons kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of AC Allianssi booed when Heroes United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Amos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Trev Banks made a precise shot to the right of Austin Leach. AC Allianssi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trev Banks in the 42nd minute of play forced AC Allianssi's goalkeeper Austin Leach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Heroes United FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nigel Chalk to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Trev Banks in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Austin Leach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Austin Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trev Banks in the 58th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Trev Banks took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Austin Leach to make any attempt to save it. Trev Banks struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Austin Leach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heroes United FC. In the 71st minute, Conan Ball hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lennie Lyons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Noel Bowland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sam Vassell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Will Dunlop hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kev Lindley got free with Austin Leach in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Sam Vassell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Heroes United FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
