After having played for 10 minutes, Isaac Clough managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NoOne's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Clough was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 minutes, Jimmy Doughty mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Ash Green FC and the NoOne players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to New Ash Green FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jimmy Doughty hit a great ball. Marty Maston was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 12th minute. NoOne's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Isaac Clough fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Fairbank having to interfere. Frank Fairbank came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by NoOne's Alan Needham. But to his dismay, Alan Needham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Frank Fairbank made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Marty Maston sent off a good shot on target. Aaron Lynch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Margarson in the 29th minute of play. New Ash Green FC's Frank Fairbank played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sean Howson in the 34th minute of play. 3-0 became the score in the 35th minute when Marty Maston elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Lewis Paget fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Fairbank having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

A hard shot 51 in the game by Kristian Margarson from a close distance when the talented Aaron Lynch managed to make a qualified save. NoOne's players were relieved. After some careless play in the New Ash Green FC defense, Lewis Paget kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frank Fairbank. The New Ash Green FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank Fairbank should have stopped the shot. Frank Fairbank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Needham, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 58 played minutes New Ash Green FC got a freekick which was hit by Crispin Patterson. Frank Fairbank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marty Maston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Sean Howson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmy Doughty hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Jamal Clegg charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jamal Clegg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of NoOne booed when New Ash Green FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamal Clegg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marty Maston struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Frank Fairbank didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NoOne. 84 minutes into the match, New Ash Green FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Clough came free, but Frank Fairbank reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Fairbank stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alan Needham's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Isaac Clough might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Fairbank. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Clough ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, New Ash Green FC's Pierre Dunn dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1.
