Felix Clark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jeff Mulligan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jez Francis struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Shawn Fairfax didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crooksville FC. In the 19th minute, one of Fulofham FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fulofham FC. In the 23rdth minute of the game Felix Clark who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crooksville FC's Jeff Mulligan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Felix Clark put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jeff Mulligan. 28 minutes in the game, Felix Clark fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jeff Mulligan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Clark in the 29th minute of play forced Crooksville FC's goalkeeper Jeff Mulligan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Donald Blair fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fulofham FC's protests and gave Donald Blair a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Fulofham FC's Justin Weatherhead ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeff Mulligan. Jeff Mulligan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. 41 minutes into the match, Felix Clark notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Crooksville FC's Jeff Mulligan. Jeff Mulligan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Crooksville FC's Jeff Mulligan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conan Crtichell in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Fulofham FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Victor Lodge hit a great ball. Fulofham FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Donald Blair in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Crooksville FC got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Higginson. In the 64th minute of the match Donald Blair sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeff Mulligan skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Crooksville FC's zone, Tom Willetts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeff Mulligan came out of the goal and Tom Willetts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jimmy Hardcastle kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the game Dion Pullen made a throw-in which Callum Goodall played forward. Kirk Banks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shawn Fairfax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kirk Banks, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Crooksville FC's Kirk Banks slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Shawn Fairfax. That made the score 5-2 after 78 minutes of play. In the 83rd minute, Tom Willetts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fulofham FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-2. In the 89th minute Felix Clark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeff Mulligan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fulofham FC fully deserved thier win.
