Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Max Hall started the match with the kick off. Max Hall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. James Gordon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Aldridge's goalkeeper Denny Reynolds had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barrie Jobling. In the 14th minute Bart Godsall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denny Reynolds saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Max Hall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kris Reid kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Bart Godsall struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Denny Reynolds didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cressage City. Barrie Jobling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cressage City's James Gordon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Hall in the 22nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Max Hall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but James Gordon was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The supporters of Cressage City booed when Aldridge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. James Lister didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barrie Jobling took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denny Reynolds. Denny Reynolds dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bart Godsall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barrie Jobling during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Barrie Jobling hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Cressage City's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Robinson came free, but James Gordon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cressage City's Rio Clifford got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 41st minute Max Hall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Gordon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Cressage City's goal looked a bit too open when Max Hall came free, but James Gordon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cressage City getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Tyler Cusack hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bart Godsall stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Aldridge's zone, Bart Godsall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denny Reynolds came out of the goal and Bart Godsall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Barrie Jobling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Bart Godsall came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Cressage City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bart Godsall couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by James Lister during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cressage City getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Silvester Varley hit a great ball. Aldridge's Kris Reid couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cressage City. In the 72nd minute, Byron Hyde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. James Gordon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Robinson, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Max Hall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without James Gordon having to interfere. Bart Godsall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Denny Reynolds tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Rio Clifford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. James Gordon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Hall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 played minutes Cressage City got a freekick which was hit by Tyler Cusack. James Gordon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Hall in the 95th minute of the match. In the 96th match minute, Aldridge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristram Fleming to maneuver through the defense. Cressage City were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aldridge for a fine match.
