Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfie Tubbs in the 3rd minute of play forced Harleston FC's goalkeeper Jay Hill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfie Tubbs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Harleston FC's Alistair Meadowcroft got a free kick in the 16th minute. Bakewell FC's Aaron Rushforth couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Harleston FC. Peter Wooding showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mick Courtney, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Peter Wooding made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Stead in the 21st minute of play. Mick Courtney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jay Hill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ralf Gill in the 31st minute. Paul Nelthorpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Wooding having to interfere. Jay Hill made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ralf Gill sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the match, Bakewell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Stead came free, but Peter Wooding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harleston FC's Jay Hill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfie Tubbs in the 43rd minute of play. Ralf Gill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Harleston FC's goalkeeper Jay Hill had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ralf Gill. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Alfie Tubbs made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Alfie Tubbs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jay Hill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Bakewell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mick Courtney came free, but Peter Wooding reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Alfie Tubbs notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Harleston FC's Jay Hill. Jay Hill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peter Wooding made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robin Stead in the 61st minute. If Alfie Tubbs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alistair Meadowcroft kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tim Shackleton during the 71st minute. After 73 minutes of play Bakewell FC's Tim Shackleton was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 74th minute, Tim Shackleton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cody Darko during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bakewell FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Cody Darko hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Gerry Burgess sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bakewell FC's Peter Wooding didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mick Courtney in the 90th minute of play forced Bakewell FC's goalkeeper Peter Wooding to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cody Darko got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Harleston FC booed when Bakewell FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cody Darko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mick Courtney succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
