Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adrian Lawson got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Alistair Meadowcroft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harleston FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yoxford City the free kick. A collision led to Harleston FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Alistair Meadowcroft hit a great ball. Bob Bensley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mick Courtney, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The supporters of Yoxford City booed when Harleston FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martyn Prutton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jay Hill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrian Lawson in the 14th minute of the match. Jay Hill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jay Coulson in the 17th minute. After 17 played minutes Harleston FC got a freekick which was hit by Rufus Duxbury. If Mick Courtney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Lawson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jay Hill having to make a save. Jay Coulson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Yoxford City's Adrian Lawson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jay Hill narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Adrian Lawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jay Coulson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jay Hill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Lawson in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jay Hill saved Harleston FC from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Robin Stead made a precise shot to the right of Bob Bensley. Yoxford City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 47 minutes into the game, Jay Coulson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jay Hill. Jay Coulson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rdth minute of the game Adrian Lawson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Harleston FC's Jay Hill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mick Courtney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Yoxford City got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Oldham. The Yoxford City fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Yoxford City's Jay Coulson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yoxford City's Jay Coulson got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrian Lawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Adrian Lawson came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Yoxford City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Lawson couldn't finish the play. Jay Coulson scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jay Hill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jay Coulson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jay Hill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Lawson in the 94th minute of play forced Harleston FC's goalkeeper Jay Hill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jay Coulson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jay Hill read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Yoxford City walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
