Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Archie Deakin started the match with the kick off. Rio Haley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Archie Deakin in the 4th minute of the match. UMA-J37's Rhys Bonham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickey Askew in the 7th minute of play. In the 20th minute, John-Paul Harban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kingsbridge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Kingsbridge's goal looked a bit too open when Archie Deakin came free, but Rio Haley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Kingsbridge getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mickey Askew hit a great ball. When Tony Gould fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kingsbridge's protests and gave Tony Gould a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Kingsbridge's Tony Gould got a free kick in the 31st minute. 37 minutes into the match, Mickey Askew notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of UMA-J37's Rhys Bonham. Rhys Bonham was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling John-Paul Harban in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rhys Bonham prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mickey Askew was the one to do the kick off. After 51st play minutes John-Paul Harban shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Rhys Bonham and just under the crossbar into goal. When Spike Higgins fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UMA-J37's protests and gave Spike Higgins a yellow card for diving instead. Spike Higgins hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Mickey Askew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, John-Paul Harban left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kingsbridge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. In the 70th minute, UMA-J37's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after John-Paul Harban fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Rhys Bonham made an important save on a dangerous shot by John-Paul Harban in the 74th minute. Rio Haley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Archie Deakin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Fitz Child got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rhys Bonham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickey Askew, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Rhys Bonham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mickey Askew's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. John-Paul Harban could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Rhys Bonham made a huge save. The Kingsbridge supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kingsbridge would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
