Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) When John-Paul Harban came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Kingsbridge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John-Paul Harban couldn't finish the play. After having played for 12 minutes, John-Paul Harban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingsbridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but John-Paul Harban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oakengates's Tod Redwood-Turner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mickey Askew in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kingsbridge's Warren Meechan got a free kick in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Oakengates's Thom Hallam broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Warren Meechan fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kingsbridge's protests and gave Warren Meechan a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Kingsbridge:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oakengates:s goal. When the match had been going on for 22 minutes, Oakengates's Thom Hallam got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rio Haley. 25 minutes into the match, Oakengates's goal looked a bit too open when Mickey Askew came free, but Tod Redwood-Turner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tod Redwood-Turner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mickey Askew, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Mickey Askew left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kingsbridge fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Oakengates's Loyd Delaney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rio Haley narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Kingsbridge's goal looked a bit too open when Loyd Delaney came free, but Rio Haley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickey Askew in the 47th minute of play forced Oakengates's goalkeeper Tod Redwood-Turner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Mickey Askew made the kick off in the second half. Carl Pyrah kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Wally Boyle kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Kingsbridge's Denis Furlong shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tod Redwood-Turner but with some difficulty. Tod Redwood-Turner came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Kingsbridge's John-Paul Harban. But to his dismay, John-Paul Harban quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Mickey Askew struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tod Redwood-Turner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kingsbridge. Mickey Askew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tod Redwood-Turner having to interfere. 1-3 became the score in the 86th minute when John-Paul Harban elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 94th minute Kingsbridge were awarded a corner. Denis Furlong went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Kingsbridge's corner Denis Furlong fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tod Redwood-Turner quite easily take care of the ball.
