After a defensive mix-up in Polonia Gloucester's zone, Neil Cook stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerry Browne came out of the goal and Neil Cook tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ted Dunning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neil Cook sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polonia Gloucester's goalkeeper Gerry Browne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vance Bentham charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vance Bentham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Huragan Tapkowice:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Polonia Gloucester:s goal. The goalkeeper, Kasey Langdon, was totally fooled by Polonia Gloucester's Devon York, who 23 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Neil Cook blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerry Browne having to make a save. Gaz Kellaway charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaz Kellaway the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Gaz Kellaway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Neil Cook came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Huragan Tapkowice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neil Cook couldn't finish the play. Ted Dunning recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Huragan Tapkowice booed when Polonia Gloucester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trevor Wilkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alexander Deakin missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 43 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Gerry Browne right hand side. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polonia Gloucester's goalkeeper Gerry Browne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tony McGurk to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony McGurk in the 52nd minute of play forced Huragan Tapkowice's goalkeeper Kasey Langdon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ted Dunning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tony McGurk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony McGurk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Langdon having to interfere. When Polonia Gloucester's Bill Welch in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Huragan Tapkowice's Kasey Langdon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony McGurk in the 73rd minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Neil Cook managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huragan Tapkowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Neil Cook was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Huragan Tapkowice's Ted Dunning slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerry Browne. That made the score 1-1 after 78 minutes of play. Polonia Gloucester's Gaz Kellaway got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Gaz Kellaway off the ground. In the 81st minute, Gaz Kellaway hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes Polonia Gloucester got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Blackwater. In the 85th match minute Vance Bentham ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Gerry Browne. 1-2. In the 90th minute, Neil Cook left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huragan Tapkowice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.
