After 15 minutes of play, Milton's Rupert Cryer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Connor Broad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dean Rothwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute Rupert Cryer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Connor Broad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match, Matt Holden tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Drew Osbon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Matt Holden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Connor Broad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Cryer in the 33rd minute of the match. If Matt Holden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stuart Atkinson struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Drew Osbon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warrington Wolves. Drew Osbon made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Dean Rothwell sent off a good shot on target. Connor Broad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupert Cryer in the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to Warrington Wolves getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Stuart Atkinson hit a great ball. Warrington Wolves's Connor Broad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rupert Cryer in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Matt Holden made the kick off in the second half. Rupert Cryer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute Matt Holden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Drew Osbon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Den Scriven during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Milton's zone, Matt Holden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Drew Osbon came out of the goal and Matt Holden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Drew Osbon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matt Holden in the 80th minute of play. Rupert Cryer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Connor Broad having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Rupert Cryer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milton's supporters rose to their feet, but Rupert Cryer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Connor Broad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, Milton's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Rothwell came free, but Drew Osbon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Matt Holden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Warrington Wolves lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
