Spectators: 6000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Buster Lowndes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Andy Kershaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lenny Sunderland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lenny Sunderland scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andy Kershaw, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Buster Lowndes came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the FC Kennington City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Buster Lowndes couldn't finish the play. Buster Lowndes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Buster Lowndes during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Buster Lowndes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Alexander Pickford managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Kennington City's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Pickford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brad East breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Robert Sutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. When Robert Sutton fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kennington City's protests and gave Robert Sutton a yellow card for diving instead. FC Kennington City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BAC FC the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Buster Lowndes in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brad East prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute Buster Lowndes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brad East saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pete Clayson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Tosh Crossley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Robert Sutton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kennington City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Brad East showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buster Lowndes in the 94th minute of the match. The BAC FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BAC FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
