Spectators: 7493 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) Elwood FC's Jarle Larsen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 11 minutes into the game, Sammy Bailey cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Zane Page was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 played minutes South Woodford United got a freekick which was hit by Mickey Hunter. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Bailey in the 16th minute of play forced Elwood FC's goalkeeper Zane Page to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rio Groom in the 17th minute of play. Elwood FC's Zane Page played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sammy Bailey in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Elwood FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Bailey came free, but Zane Page reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the game, Rafael Roldanillo lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Pierre Delaney. Jake Marshall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Zane Page tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zane Page showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marc Picker in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Jake Marshall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the South Woodford United and the Elwood FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jake Marshall kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jarle Larsen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierre Delaney was relentless in the 44th minute of the game.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sammy Bailey was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes South Woodford United got a freekick which was hit by Zackary Smart. In the 56th minute Rafael Roldanillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre Delaney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elwood FC's Zane Page proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Elwood FC from getting a goal against them. Marc Picker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Zane Page made a huge save. Rio Groom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarle Larsen in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierre Delaney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gavin Billing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sammy Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, South Woodford United's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Roldanillo came free, but Pierre Delaney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jarle Larsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre Delaney having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Ethan Rundle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, South Woodford United's Sammy Bailey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zane Page narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute, South Woodford United's Sammy Bailey dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jarle Larsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elwood FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarle Larsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rio Groom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elwood FC's Rafael Roldanillo in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye South Woodford United's goalie prevented a goal. The South Woodford United players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Elwood FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
