Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Austin Caton in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brendon Prior prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Seth Hargreaves kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Alton's Sidney Macken tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Grant Blackwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Archie Pearce tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Alton's Henry Simpson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Archie Pearce narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
