Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ray Blackburn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lewis Mayall in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nigel Fletcher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Albright in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nigel Fletcher saved OZS Guzikowka Krosno from getting behind. Lewis Mayall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nigel Fletcher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Nigel Fletcher didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. 18 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Petersfield City's Lewis Mayall fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 20 minutes into the match, OZS Guzikowka Krosno's goalkeeper Nigel Fletcher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Graham Whitehead. A collision led to Petersfield City getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Joe Albright hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Silvester Hardcastle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ray Blackburn skillfully saved the ball. Ray Blackburn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Freddy Theobold's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Silvester Hardcastle's late challenge caught a Petersfield City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvester Hardcastle helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes OZS Guzikowka Krosno got a freekick which was hit by Silvester Hardcastle. Graham Whitehead had several of the OZS Guzikowka Krosno's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Nigel Fletcher as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, Petersfield City's Stuart Kitchen got a free kick in the 37th minute. Nigel Fletcher made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Graham Whitehead sent off a good shot on target. Freddy Theobold received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ray Blackburn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Theobold stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nigel Fletcher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lewis Mayall's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute Lewis Mayall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel Fletcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nigel Fletcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lewis Mayall in the 65th minute of play. Lewis Mayall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nigel Fletcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ray Blackburn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Theobold in the 93rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Freddy Theobold managed to get in a good position for a shot. OZS Guzikowka Krosno's supporters rose to their feet, but Freddy Theobold was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray Blackburn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
