When Archie Lamb came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Kelvedon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Archie Lamb couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Archie Lamb in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nigel Fletcher saved OZS Guzikowka Krosno from getting behind. Sam Fleming received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Nigel Fletcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Archie Lamb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Russell Carroll hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Freddy Theobold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ricky Dumpleton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Sam Fleming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nigel Fletcher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Lamb in the 20th minute of play. With his leg Nigel Fletcher managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Kelvedon AFC's Sam Fleming fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nigel Fletcher made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Sam Fleming sent off a good shot on target. Sam Fleming scored 1-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nigel Fletcher, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute Archie Lamb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel Fletcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kelvedon AFC's Ricky Dumpleton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jude Bradley in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Kelvedon AFC booed when OZS Guzikowka Krosno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvester Hardcastle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nigel Fletcher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Fleming in the 40th minute of the match. When Jimmy Foreman fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kelvedon AFC's protests and gave Jimmy Foreman a yellow card for diving instead. Jimmy Foreman kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Archie Lamb made the kick off in the second half. Brad Hargraves thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nigel Fletcher, a very annoying self made goal in the 53rd minute which led to 3-1. In the 57th minute, Sam Fleming left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kelvedon AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 61 minutes, Joshua Hewitt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OZS Guzikowka Krosno and the Kelvedon AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, OZS Guzikowka Krosno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Hewitt to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Freddy Theobold managed to get in a good position for a shot. The OZS Guzikowka Krosno fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nigel Fletcher should have stopped the shot. OZS Guzikowka Krosno's Nigel Fletcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Fleming in the 91st minute of play. Sam Fleming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
