Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Piers Bull could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Walter Bowen made a huge save. Walter Bowen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Bator, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Walter Bowen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Freddy Bator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miles Alsop made in the 13th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Freddy Bator immediately put the ball in play. Freddy Bator hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Romeo Gildea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Bowen having to interfere. Walter Bowen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Gildea in the 20th minute. If Freddy Bator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Reject United FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Lenny Shaw hit a great ball. Walter Bowen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Gildea went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 29th minute, Lenny Shaw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kristopher Cadwallader was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Miles Alsop threw the ball into play from the sideline. Reject United FC's Sean Kenna quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Asot booed when Reject United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ethan Sissons didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Oscar Price shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walter Bowen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Martyn Hehir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Miles Alsop in the 42nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Reject United FC's Sean Kenna. Sam Bagshaw's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kristopher Cadwallader read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The long shot by Martyn Hehir in the 46th minute really tested Walter Bowen's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Garry Malpeli made the kick off in the second half. When Asot's Romeo Gildea in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Reject United FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Sean Kenna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walter Bowen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Gildea in the 64th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the game Martyn Hehir made a throw-in which Piers Bull played forward. Reject United FC's Garth Knightley quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martyn Hehir, made in the 77th minute of the game. Asot's Kristopher Cadwallader proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Asot from getting a goal against them. Reject United FC's Walter Bowen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Gildea in the 82nd minute of play. Freddy Bator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Bowen having to interfere. Martyn Hehir kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Freddy Bator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Bowen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 3-1 became the score in the 93rd minute when Romeo Gildea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Asot were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Reject United FC for a fine match.
