Chelsea100's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Hitchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Adrian Nethercoat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bradley Anson was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Bradley Anson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garry Ely in the 32nd minute of the match. When Chelsea100's Lance Armitage in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The tension between the Rackenford and the Chelsea100 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brendon Maylett's late challenge caught a Rackenford's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brendon Maylett helped the player get up and apologised. Brendon Maylett hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Adrian Nethercoat notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chelsea100's Bradley Anson. Bradley Anson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rackenford's Dale Jewson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lance Armitage in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Nethercoat was the one to do the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Chelsea100's Lance Armitage in the 53rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Dale Jewson was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Rackenford through an amazing save. Dale Jewson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lance Armitage, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garry Ely in the 58th minute of play forced Chelsea100's goalkeeper Bradley Anson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Chelsea100's Neil Elvins in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Garry Ely in the 75th minute of play forced Chelsea100's goalkeeper Bradley Anson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rackenford's Dale Jewson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Rackenford from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lance Armitage in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Jewson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute of the match Garry Ely sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradley Anson skillfully saved the ball. Dale Jewson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Winter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the match, Adrian Nethercoat had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bradley Anson. Chelsea100's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adrian Nethercoat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Chelsea100's Bradley Anson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Paul Clough in the 90th minute of play. The Rackenford support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
