Londons finest's Paddy Shields played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reggie Riad in the 7th minute of play. When John Brooks fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wombwell FC's protests and gave John Brooks a yellow card for diving instead. John Brooks kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Wombwell FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basil Bush came free, but Joshua Norfolk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reggie Riad recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Benjamin Seagrave fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Londons finest's protests and gave Benjamin Seagrave a yellow card for diving instead. Benjamin Seagrave kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Londons finest's zone, Reggie Riad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paddy Shields came out of the goal and Reggie Riad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chris Tully was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 23rd minute. Londons finest's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Buster Folwill managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wombwell FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Buster Folwill was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chris Tully made a kick off. When Donald Moyle came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Londons finest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donald Moyle couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Buster Folwill got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joshua Norfolk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basil Bush in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Chris Tully's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joshua Norfolk was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. After 73 minutes of play, Wombwell FC's Reggie Riad made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paddy Shields was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Reggie Riad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reggie Riad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Reggie Riad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paddy Shields was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. When Billy Denham fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Londons finest's protests and gave Billy Denham a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Londons finest getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Billy Denham hit a great ball. If Reggie Riad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Wombwell FC's zone, Basil Bush stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joshua Norfolk came out of the goal and Basil Bush tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Londons finest fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Wombwell FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
