Spectators: 5660 (Terracing: 4499, Seating: 1149, VIP seats: 12) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vernon Hodges made the kick off which started today's match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ebytech Eagles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! If John Paul Walters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 9 played minutes Playing Place got a freekick which was hit by Spike Norman. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ross Busby in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jake Hallam prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camron Moxon hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Hayden Milner, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jeff Hall kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Jordan Wainwright took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hayden Milner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jake Hallam stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ross Busby's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After some careless play in the Playing Place defense, John Paul Walters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jake Hallam. The Playing Place fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jake Hallam should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Playing Place's Zaq Hamilton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jordan Wainwright made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Playing Place's zone, Ross Busby stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jake Hallam came out of the goal and Ross Busby tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jake Hallam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeff Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Ross Busby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Hallam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Playing Place's Jake Hallam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Playing Place from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ross Busby made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Spike Norman during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Playing Place getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Spike Norman hit a great ball. Ross Busby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 minutes of play, Ebytech Eagles's Ross Busby made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jake Hallam was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ross Busby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute, Mark Schofield made a precise shot to the right of Jake Hallam. Playing Place's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. John Paul Walters struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jake Hallam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ebytech Eagles. In the 72nd minute, Ross Busby made a precise shot to the right of Jake Hallam. Playing Place's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. After 76 minutes, Ross Busby made it 6-2 with a short kick to the right side. Playing Place's Jake Hallam tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Ebytech Eagles's Ross Busby in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Playing Place's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ross Busby in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jake Hallam saved Playing Place from getting behind. The supporters of Playing Place booed when Ebytech Eagles was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rick Harrad didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute of the match Hayden Milner sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jordan Wainwright skillfully saved the ball. Spike Norman hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Playing Place's goal looked a bit too open when Ross Busby came free, but Jake Hallam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Allan Alsford hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Jake Hallam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Schofield, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
