The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Leeds AFC got a freekick which was hit by Austin Kent. Liam Horseman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lloyd Ginn in the 14th minute of the match. Steven Bailey was a little too slow when Craig Kennedy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Craig Kennedy received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. In the 31st minute, Stevie Renwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Steven Bailey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Kennedy in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Rush in the 43rd minute of play forced Leeds AFC's goalkeeper Liam Horseman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Craig Kennedy made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Lloyd Ginn put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Liam Horseman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylon Sullivan in the 54th minute of play forced Bloomsbury's goalkeeper Steven Bailey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Leeds AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Rush came free, but Liam Horseman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylon Sullivan took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Steven Bailey. Steven Bailey dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Marek Spencer kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Leeds AFC's Liam Horseman got control of the ball when Eric Rush tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Rush in the 86th minute of play forced Leeds AFC's goalkeeper Liam Horseman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Craig Kennedy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leeds AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
