Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Roger Blowman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Watchet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Blowman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Windsor getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Curtis Eslworth hit a great ball. Watchet's Barrie Stride couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Windsor. Nathanial Alcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum Hirst having to interfere. Rupert Normans short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Sacha York to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 38th minute Jasper Morning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calum Hirst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jasper Morning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum Hirst having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 51st minute Rupert Norman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sacha York saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Gavan during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Watchet booed when Windsor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Gavan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyle Robson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jasper Morning had several of the Windsor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Calum Hirst as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jasper Morning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Calum Hirst made a huge save. Nathanial Alcock's late challenge caught a Windsor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nathanial Alcock helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Watchet got a freekick which was hit by Nathanial Alcock. The supporters of Watchet booed when Windsor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Croxford didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rupert Chamberlain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Watchet's Jasper Morning ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Calum Hirst. Calum Hirst yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Jasper Morning might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Calum Hirst. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jasper Morning ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the game, Jasper Morning cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Calum Hirst was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 90 minutes into the game, Des Munroe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Windsor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Watchet the free kick. Watchet's Nathanial Alcock got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Watchet's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
