In the 14th minute Graeme Ansell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blair Cunningham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Ring could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Ritchie Willetts made a huge save. Blair Cunningham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Furlong in the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Will Ellerton shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ritchie Willetts showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Felix Ring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaz Dothery might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ritchie Willetts. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaz Dothery ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Frost in the 32nd minute of play forced Roseburn Rovers's goalkeeper Blair Cunningham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Ring's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Ritchie Willetts skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 40 played minutes Leeds AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pierce Caton. Marc Frost charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marc Frost the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Leeds AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Frost to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

53 minutes into the match, Leeds AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaz Dothery came free, but Ritchie Willetts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Marc Frost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 68 played minutes Roseburn Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Jerome Davies. Ritchie Willetts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendon Whittingham in the 74th minute of the match. Felix Ring's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ritchie Willetts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Roseburn Rovers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! Graeme Ansell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Blair Cunningham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 98 minutes into the match, Roseburn Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Graeme Ansell came free, but Blair Cunningham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Leeds AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leeds AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
